Hello, and I'd like to personally welcome you to Temporal Investigations. My name is Chad Kirchner and I'm the officer in charge around here. I've always wanted to do a Star Trek podcast, and now is as good of time as ever to do so! We're awash with new content, and there's a massive trove of back catalog stuff to cover. We'll do it all right here. If that sounds ambitious, you're right! While we'll focus on Star Trek, we won't be just recapping old episodes or movies. We'll talk about the cuture, the fandom, and everything that surrounds the science fiction franchise that launched in 1966.

"I guess you boys from Temporal Investigations are... always on time." - Jadzia Dax (DS9: "Trials and Tribble-ations")

That's one of my favorite quotes from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine because it shows that Jadzia Dax enjoys a good dad joke. And really, who doesn't enjoy a good dad joke? Also, there is so much time travel in Star Trek that there has to be an entire divison devoted to making sure people don't muck it all up. In future episodes, there's even timeships devoted to traveling and fixing the timeline. If that sounds like another franchise, you're also probably right.

Because there's such a back catalog of Trek to explore, the name Temporal Investigations makes sense. We'll talk about Trek's past, Trek's present, and Trek's future.
